German for mothers and fathers of school children

Does your child go to kindergarten or elementary school in the canton of Basel-Stadt? Would you like to understand the school better and accompany your child well? Learn German at school!

In this course you will learn German in a school context: for easier communication with your child's school and to better understand the Basel school system.

GER level

People with different language skills learn together (beginners to intermediate level). It is not a level course.

You can join at any time as long as there are still places available.

More valuable information

  • Participants with different language skills (beginners to intermediate level) learn together. .
  • You learn in groups of 5 to a maximum of 14 other course participants.
  • Your children who are not yet at school are looked after during lessons (parallel childcare available depending on location).
  • Visits and excursions on the school grounds and in the neighborhood are possible.

Course

Registration is definitive.

Anyone who cancels after the second week from the official start of the course must pay the full price.

If you join after the 8th week of the course, you only pay half the course price.

You can join the course at any time.

If fewer than 5 people take part, the course ends before the fall vacations. In this case, only CHF 50.00 will be charged for the course.

Installment payments are possible from an invoice amount of CHF 150.00. The full amount must be paid by the end of the course.

 

Childcare

It is possible to join the childcare program if the course offers childcare and there are still places available.

Registration is definitive.

If the child joins after the 8th week of the course, only half of the course fee has to be paid.

If fewer than 2 children attend, childcare ends before the fall vacations. In this case, only CHF 20.00 will be charged for childcare.

Installment payments are possible from an invoice amount of CHF 150.00. The full amount must be paid by the end of the course.
